Master Mind

Our March meeting topic was MasterMind, facilitated by Tonja Eaton, professional coach and owner of Full Circle Coaching and Consulting.

This month's meeting was all about the original concept of the Career Transitions Group - providing support, ideas and resources to each other. It was very powerful and productive!!

We sat in a round-table format, then one-by-one stated the most pressing obstacle keeping us from moving forward in our career change. The rest of the members offered suggestions to our dilemma, while we were not able to respond.
Tonja explained that, not allowing us to respond to each suggestion was a key part of the exercise because our natural tendency is to think of reasons why a suggestion won't work. Our silence allows us to hear the many suggestions offered, process them, then narrow down our choices to the ones we believe are the most viable.

The creative energy was certainly flowing in that room the night of the meeting! We all walked away with something tangible and specific to our own situation to help us to move forward.
